In this three day camp, students will learn the fundamentals of handbuilding with clay! By pinching, coil building, slab-rolling, and adding color using underglazes, young artists will create multiple ceramic projects, ranging from decorative pieces to functional dishware! This camp also incorporates drawing everyday, movement breaks, mindful moments and we play lots of fun games. No experience necessary!
This class is for young artists ages 6-9(ish). Students who are slightly younger are welcome to attend, especially if they are joining a friend or sibling! All supplies and equipment are included in class cost. All items are ready for pick-up within 3 weeks.
***Our studio is in an un-air-conditioned warehouse with a small front office (our break room) that is climate controlled. We keep the summer camps early enough in the day, and create a vortex of fans, that most students are not too bothered by these conditions, but is worth noting in advance!
