In this Saturday workshop, Abbey of Sweep Ceramics will show students how to build a planter out of coils. Starting with a base and working your way up, students can make their planters as simple or complicated as they choose. A rainbow of underglazes will be available to paint designs on that day. Planters will remain UNGLAZED (will not hold water) and work will be ready for pick up in 2-3 weeks.
This class is geared more towards adults, but students ages 13 and up are welcome to attend. For any students aged 8-12, an accompanying adult must also purchase a spot to learn with them, side-by-side.
